A skeleton trailer should match the container arrangement you intend to carry. The catalogue lists distinct 20ft, 40ft and 45ft configurations rather than one chassis specification for every container task.

Name the actual container combination

The 20ft reference is for 20ft container loading. The 40ft reference lists one 40ft or two 20ft containers. The 45ft reference lists 45ft, 40ft and two-20ft arrangements. Confirm the support positions and twist-lock layout for the configuration you order.

Compare the catalogue configurations

The 20ft reference lists 2/3 axles and a 20–50-ton loading-capacity range. The 40ft and 45ft references list 3/4 axles and 30–80-ton ranges. Capacity and dimensions must be agreed for the selected arrangement.

Include the handling operation

State the container sizes, laden weight, terminal or road operation and loading equipment. A terminal handling requirement may lead to a different configuration from another operation using the same container length.

Confirm components in the quotation

The catalogue includes axle, tyre, landing-gear and king-pin choices. Ask for the actual component list; a brand listed as an option is not a guarantee that it is fitted to every chassis.
