The Vehicle Master catalogue distinguishes multi-axle lowbed configurations from modular heavy-duty platforms. Their capacities and operating arrangements should not be mixed into a single generic heavy-haul rating.
Multi-axle lowbed reference
The specification lists 2-line/4-axle, 3-line/6-axle, 4-line/8-axle and 5-line/10-axle arrangements, with a 60–200-ton loading-capacity range. Working-platform dimensions are described as being designed to customer requirements.
Modular platform reference
The modular specification separately lists 300,000 kg rated load capacity or customized and 450,000 kg maximum loading capacity or customized. It also describes hydraulic suspension and steerable wheels. Rated and maximum capacity are not interchangeable terms.
A cargo drawing is essential to the enquiry
Provide the load dimensions, mass, centre-of-gravity information and loading method. Include the operating and route constraints so that the proposed platform can be reviewed as a complete arrangement.
Confirm the approved configuration
Use the quotation and approved drawing for the order-specific limits and dimensions. A catalogue range does not establish permission for a particular road movement or certify a loading plan.
